Graves County Eagles ? (0-2)
vs.
Murray Tigers ? (2-0, 3A #5)

? | 'Wounded Eagles Try To Silence Robbins And The Rip Roaring Tigers'

? vs. ? | Murray's offense has been humming through the first two weeks, averaging 49 points and 486 yards per game. Graves County has allowed 89 points combined to WKY’s elite, Mayfield and Paducah Tilghman. Murray hasn't yet earned the privilege of keeping that company, but the Tigers can score with the best of them.

? of ?️ | Graves is in the midst of staring down a stretch of games featuring the best of the best in WKY. Mayfield, Tilghman, Murray, Union County, Owensboro, and Madisonville make for a front loaded schedule. Is it a little too loaded for the inexperienced Eagles?

Mr. ?? | In a race that's wide open, Wyatt Robbins has tossed his name into the hat with superb performances in the first two weeks. Murray's quarterback is completing 72% of his passes with five touchdowns and zero picks. He's playing about as well as any quarterback out there right now.

Series History ?: Graves County leads 7-2 since 1998. The Eagles have won the last seven straight, leaving Murray without a win since 2012.

I think Graves keeps this close. I would assume most will pick Murray, and for good reason, but I think Graves hangs tough in this game.

Wyatt Robbins is playing at a high level as expected. He also has around 200 yards on the ground thru the first two games.  Murray’s offense has been very balanced thus far, making it hard to pin point what’s coming.  The Tigers defense seemed to play with better discipline in their second game.  They’ve done well even while battling the injury bug with 4/5 starters out.  Can they continue this week versus a better Eagles team?

Graves defense has played well thru two games even though the score doesn’t reflect their effort.  The Eagles offense has not help in this regard.  They have not sustained drives to give their defense a rest.  I see the Eagles to settle down a bit and have a better game this week.  Not sure it will be enough at this point.

Murray will be to much!

Exactly Murray will be too much for Graves.. Like to see how their performance sizes up with the elite of Mayfield and Paducah Tilghman against Graves..

Murray is tough squad they are gonna be too athletic for graves.

Eagles played Paducah significantly better than they did Mayfield, even though score might not reflect that too much. If Paducah really is a top 5 team in the state, then Graves isn’t far off from being a good team. Eagles have a history of getting better as the season goes on. Through two games that has happened. If the young eagles can eliminate some mistakes, I think they can surprise a lot of people Friday night.

This is a big game for the Eagles. They have a tough schedule still ahead and a win here gives them momentum for the next several weeks, but a loss makes every game going forward more difficult.  The defense has played really well, better than the scores indicate in first 2 games.  The defense can only hold it together for so long if the offense isn't scoring, especially against really good teams. I don't know if the head coach is calling the defense but they play physical while offense seems very flat. Maybe this will be the coming out party for new QB and they get the win.  Eagles 35-34
