Dayton 62 Pendleton County 49

Featured Replies

The first home game was a success at Greendevil Stadium. A very nice crowd was in attendance from Dayton and Pendleton County.

Dayton is a much better football team offensively but they have a lot to improve on defense, especially with the passing game. Malakye Kennedy broke the stadium in with eight rushing touchdowns. He had two touchdown runs for over 50 yards, one for 76 yards, one for 61 yards,, one for over 30 yards, and I don’t know the yardage of the others. He is a sophomore, this will be a familiar name in NKY over the next couple seasons, very talented running back.

I am excited about the future of Dayton football!

Over 100 points, wow. Nice lol.

The announcer made a remark to end the third quarter saying it didn’t need a track with the track meet on the field lol.

Three or four straight track lanes will be put in front of the bleachers, they just haven’t been done yet.

8 Touchdowns in one game is certainly an Amazing way to open your new stadium‼️‼️‼️

Kennedy is an absolute stud. Regardless of who it was against, Dayton hasn’t had a sophomore running back have a game remotely close to what he did tonight. His yardage and touchdowns has to be a record of some kind.

What a great setting for a high school football stadium!

(To the folks from outside of NKY who may not be so familiar...the stadium is tucked in between Lincoln Middle School and Dayton High School a couple hundred yards from the floodwall in Dayton. Those buildings you see on the hill in the horizon are actually across the Ohio River up on Mount Adams on the east side of Cincinnati.)

I strongly encourage whoever can to attend at least one game here. The view of everything alone is amazing, especially when the sun goes down. Once the field house and concourse is done, it’s all going to be amazing. It’s anticipated that everything should be completed by the end of September.

Dayton Greendevils deserve first class facilities and that wonderful residential development on the river made a tremendous property tax source.
