2025 NBA Draft

Featured Replies

To no one's surprise Copper Flagg from Duke is taken as the 2025 overall NBA #1 draft pick by the Dallas Maverick's. Also, with this pick Duke passes Kentucky for the school with the most lottery picks in the draft era with 31 and that number will grow with probably at least 2 or maybe 3 more being lottery picks later in the evening.

This is THE major issue with the NBA draft.  It is really hard for fans to get excited about the draft when you know going in that the name called will never play for your team.

Here is a question I have for anyone who knows more about basketball than I evidently do is how in the world did Rutgers with two top 5 lottery picks finish at 15-17 and 8-12 in the Big 10. lol

Sad as it is, ESPN just needs to ditch everyone except Andraya Carter and Jay Bilas and just let them talk basketball.   Yeah Jay Bilas is a highlight of coverage.

I don't know if I mentioned it or not in the finals thread but overall I was disappointed the commentators/studio hosts for the NBA finals.  I don't feel like they met the moment.
