Rebounding has evened up significantly, as the Purples have grabbed five offensive rebounds.  It's only 22-19 Adair overall.

  • I will also go with the Purples in a close game! Deuce is now starting with Wardlow coming off bench. I believe it has made a big difference! They did not play in first game with Adair County. The  st

Bowling Green up 32-23 now, and it's starting to grow very, very dim for the Indians.  They've scored only four points in the span of about 11 minutes of game time.

32-23 Purples near the end of the 3rd.

Bardin knocks down a three and Adair County finally has a three pointer.  They're up to 1/8 on the game from there.

Wardlow answers immediately for the Purples, and it is 34-26 Bowling Green after three (as Adair misses yet another three).

Bowling Green was so much better in almost every facet of the game that quarter.  They're within 22-21 on the boards, and now up to 41.2% on the game from the field.

This game feels over to me.  Bowling Green is not a team that gives up leads very often.

36-26 Bowling Green after a Carpenter layup, while Adair gets a tip in to draw within 36-28.  6:11 4th.

Connor Loy's tip in gave him his first points of the entire half.  Loy is 3/11 for the game and has only seven points.  Bailey has locked him up.

38-30 with 5:19 left in the game.  Bowling Green has the ball and the lead.

Cannot believe Idlett missed that 3.  Would have been the ballgame.

Coomer picks up two fouls in rapid fire, and he now has four fouls, as does Grant.  Adair in trouble all over the place.

I'm rather stunned the Purples have this advantage with Hurt having not scored.

Still 38-30, with 4:36 left in the game, and Adair County calls timeout.

A bit of a run here by Adair, as they've closed to 40-36 with 3:16 left in the game.

We've reached the media timeout.  Purples have the ball and the lead at 40-36.  2:58 left.

Carpenter leads all scorers, with 13 for the Purples.  Banks also in double figures for Bowling Green with 10.  Cochran and Coomer both have 10 for Adair, the only Indians in double digits.

Bg playing keep away a little too early for my liking.  Need to keep attacking the rim.

The Purples have only once won at state tourney when scoring fewer than 63 points, that coming in a 46-40 win over Clark County in 1945.  They're in position to add to that today.
