Adair back in front on a White jumper, 15-13.

Adair controlling the boards, already up to 11 while Bowling Green only has four.  The height advantage appears to be coming into play.

Bailey goes 1/2 from the foul line in the first trip to the line for Bowling Green today.  Both teams start 1/2 from the foul line.  15-14 Adair County, 6:30 2nd.

Bowling Green with a 4-0 run, they pull back in front 18-17 and prompts an Adair County timeout.  3:41 2nd.

Adair County has six turnovers, five of which are steals by Bowling Green.

Adair County has been unable to find anything from range yet, they're 0/4 from deep, but 9/14 inside.  Bowling Green is 1/8 from deep after hitting their first two threes of the game.

Adair County leads 19-18 with 2:03 left in the second, at the media timeout.  Joe Hurt just picked up his second foul for Bowling Green - he is their only player with height, so that may be significant.

Three lead changes in the game so far, two ties.

Both teams much colder this quarter.  Adair has missed their last four field goal attempts, while Bowling Green went nearly three minutes without scoring.  Banks puts the Purples back in front, 20-19, with 1:15 left in the half.

Coomer picks up his second foul for Adair County, and it's another turnover for the Indians.  Coomer is responsible for four of them just by himself.

Bowling Green leads 20-19 at the half.  Adair County has gone ice cold, and did not score the last 3:24 of the quarter, missing their final five field goals, and 1 of their last 7.  They're still shooting 45% for the game, but 0/5 from three.  Bowling Green isn't much better, shooting 8/23 from the field and 3/10 from three, but that extra little bit from three gives them the slight edge.  Deuce Bailey and Joe Hurt both have two fouls for the Purples, while Coomer has two for Adair.

Thanks for the updates.   Good to see several contest participants checking in.

The game is a bit reverse of what I'm used to from these very early starts. Bowling Green started real hot from three, Adair was pretty hot from the field early on, and then they both started looking like I expected - can't hit anything at all.

The start to the third feels key here.  If one of these teams can come out strong, they may be able to put the game away before the other team can recover.  Bowling Green will get first crack, as they open with the ball.  Hurt will need to avoid getting his third foul early, and they will want to get him going.  It is apparent that Adair is focused on locking down Idlett, although Luke has managed to get a pair of two pointers.  Adair for the most part has all the ingredients I think they'd be looking for aside from one - turnovers.  They have seven turnovers, five of which are steals, and you can't give up live ball turnovers to the Purples.  They've been solid inside, which is where their strength would be, leading rebounding 18-10, and Bowling Green isn't burying them from three. That they're trailing at the half is a pretty big red flag given those circumstances.

Adair with another couple of missed threes, while Bowling Green starts 2/4, but their back to back baskets puts them up 24-19 with 6:01 left in the third.  Adair County now up to 5 minutes scoreless.

Cochran finally gets Adair back on the board, it is 24-21 now.  Lane Grant picks up his third foul for Adair (guess I missed that he had two).  That puts Carpenter at the line for Bowling Green - he hits 2-2 and it is 26-21.

@DragonFire you are on top of this game, thank you!

Adair County continues to miss shots, and Banks with another layup for Bowling Green gives the Purples their largest lead of the day at 28-21.  4:06 left in the third.

I thought whoever wins those first four minutes would win the game.  Undeniable that the Purples won it decisively.

Bowling Green leads 30-23 with 1:54 left in the third as they reach media timeout.  Purples have the ball as well.
