Looking around at the schedules that have been released thus far, here are the games we have confirmed for the Yellow Jackets in 2025.

Aug 22 -
Aug 29 -
Sep 5 vs. Great Crossing
Sep 12 -
Sep 19 -
Sep 26 -
Oct 3 vs. South Oldham (District)
Oct 10 at Collins (District)
Oct 17 vs. Scott County (District)
Oct 24 vs. Anderson County (District)
Oct 31 at George Rogers Clark

In recent years they've had non-district games against Atherton, Taylor County, Dunbar, Pulaski County, Bullitt East, Simon Kenton, Franklin County, West Jessamine, Ballard, WEB DuBois, Campbell County, Tates Creek and LaRue County. Of those, Ballard, WEB DuBois, Campbell County, Tates Creek, and LaRue County are all yet to release their 2025 schedules, so we may well see any of them popping up on the Woodford County schedule.

- Ryle is still looking for a game on Sep 26.
- I'm pretty sure St. Xavier is still looking for a game on either Sep 12 or Oct 31.
- Beechwood is still looking for a game on Aug 22.

Also still waiting for schedule releases from Madison Central, Corbin and North Hardin who would all make solid games for the Yellow Jackets.

They are swapping out the California team for someone in Florida (not IMG or any of the Miami high schools). Their likely starting c/o 2027 QB Foxx Coons has sprouted from 6'1, to 6'4 over the winter. Their 2027 class is very close to "loaded" status.

The "loaded" class of '27 is indeed loading. Perez has been offered by UK, Penn State, and WKU all in the last two weeks.

I've never even heard of 3 of those schools so it will be entertaining to keep up with WOFO this year.

Harvest Prep beat perennial Ohio powerhouse Pick Central in Week 1 last year.

Per Woodford County Football on Twitter, the last game is now going to be played at Ballard rather than at Woodford County.
