Scheduling is not that hard.

Pick up the phone and call somebody. 
Go to the big cities and play in Events. Louisville, Lexington and NKY have single and multi day events that a team could pick up one or two games against good competition.

There are ways and in Kentucky you get 30 practice games until the games truly matter

***this is not in any way a knock on NL or anyone else’s schedule. The traditionally good programs normally play all comers.

Given that the Massey ratings are looking at data for the entire season it’s easy to see why they missed that one.  DCA with Grace Mbugua is a totally different team and even once she started play again in January it took awhile for things to click.  They’re not going to knock off a Sacred Heart but in the match up with Daviess County it became apparent early on that it was a mismatch.

Good point, and that's a minus for data based ratings, which is just a tool. The "eye test" from knowledgeable folks like you is art. Maybe a mix of art and science is best?

DCA has been trending upwards in the last month or so. Really a big fan of Grace here, and glad the Lady Warriors made the tourney.
