This will probably be an unpopular post but a lot of these decisions seem pre-determined and based on the past.  I don’t understand how a girl can miss half the season (due to injury) and still be considered the regions player of the year. All Stars. YES!  Player of the year?  I feel that should go to the girl that played most, if not the entire season and dominated her Region.  It looks like this was the case in multiple regions.

Congratulations to all of the girls on this list. Your hard work and dedication has paid off.

Region 5 played 16 games

Region 10 played 14.
Region 12 played 15.

I'm not sure about Region 5 or 10, but in the case of Region 12, Grace Mbugua has average 23 and 13, her team has not been beaten in regional competition since she returned, and she led them to the All A state championship.  I understand what you're saying but IMHO she deserves the player of the year honor.

Would you say that Dontaie Allen didn't deserve Mr. Basketball in 2019? he only played in 13 games.
