I'm not sure whether this is intended to be a completely new bowl with a new name, or if instead they're intending to play the Barren County Bowl in 2025 with the Scottie Bowl on hold for a year, and then put the Barren County Bowl on hold in 2026 when they play the Scottie Bowl with the same set of sponsors.

This is all correct. Attempts of keeping games in the city of Glasgow and cutting down on travel. Original talks of having the Scottie Bowl week one, Trojan Turf war week 2 and both teams playing in each others bowl and then each other in their home/away series, essentially creating 3 games with no travel early in the season. Logistics of setting the events up and interested teams are hard to come by so they settled on this format.

Any idea what the bowl is going to be called? Bargow Turf Bowl? Glarren Turf Bowl? Just switching off the bowl name based on which team is host?

Not completely sure its named yet, Don Franklin is sponsoring it I believe so some derivative of Don Franklin Bowl.

Lincoln County hasn't released their schedule yet, so we'll see who the Patriots end up playing in the other Death Valley Bowl game.

Corbin is going to be hosting district opponent Harlan County on Aug 22 in the Cumberland Falls Pigskin Classic. Not sure which teams are playing in the other game that night.

Yes, Madison Southern/Lincoln is a Death Valley Bowl matchup. The other game is Garrard County vs. North Bullitt.

Pendleton County tweeted an update to their schedule, which put them in an 8:00pm game at Owen County's German American Bank Bowl on Saturday, Sept 13th. I'm assuming there's a first game taking place in the bowl and Owen vs. Pendleton is the second game?
