Just about every team has a big week throughout a sports season, but it’s safe to say that Montgomery County just experienced something special! They kicked things off on a high note with a solid win against Paris, displaying some serious determination and talent that pushed their record to just one win shy of that magical .500 mark. But they weren’t done yet! In a thrilling turn of events, Montgomery County continued to ride their momentum, pulling off an impressive upset against Campbell County, successfully bringing their record level at .500. If you don't already know the rest of their story this week, they also added a 40-point win against Mason County in the first game with a true floor general in Cayden Reed. Reed's very first play in a Montgomery County uniform was a beautiful backdoor lob. 

This coming week is gearing up to be exciting in the 10th region! Campbell County is set for a showdown against always formidable Covington Catholic on Tuesday, which should offer a glimpse into how they compete against the best in the state. Then, later in the week, Montgomery County will be looking to turn the tables against GRC after their earlier season loss. It’s a fantastic chance for these teams to prove where they should fall in the weekly rankings.

Believe it or not, this isn't the first time over the course of several years that Montgomery Co. has had better talent than GRC.  I think the main reason for GRC dominance over Montgomery Co. has been coaching.  Josh Cook and his assistants have always done an incredible job of coaching their kids and managing their talent.

It is canceled. Brossart reached out and canceled after they won the 10th region all A.

Harrison currently holds the 1 seed in the District tournament at 3-1. They still have games with Robertson (this Friday) and Pendleton (next Friday).

Maybe McGillis playing would have made it closer. CCH has things to work on. The Camels and Coach Sowder absolutely earned that win.
