I wouldn't say that :)

He is a great shooter and when he gets a little stronger next year he will make it very hard to stack a defense to stop Crawford. Corbin will be very good for the next 3 years.

Why not they have been good for at least the last 30 years for the most part. I agree the future look bright for the redhounds.

I have a feeling that the Hounds are fixing to turn into the new South Laurel of the 13th region. The rise may have just started.

I think that this young Redhound team will bring much excitement to Corbin for the next several years.

Has Crawford ever had a game where he didn't have a field goal? Hard to recall him not being in double figures even. Good for Corbin to have so many other options to pick up the slack. Teams have to be worried about more than one fine player, makes the hounds much tougher to prepare for IMO.

I'd say the last 20 years.

Corbin didn't get that much done in the 70s and up until Hicks arrived in 1986.

I'm sure he did have a few games last year not in double figures and his 8th grade year he probably went without a field goal. What is so mind boggling to me is that I think tonight was one of his better games and he only had 3 points. They way he demands 2 and 3 people and is able to pass the ball with perfection to the open man is unreal. I hate to sound like a homer but when it comes to all around game, I see only Pettigrew of E-Town better than him. Josh's presence alone changes teams entire mindsets. We're lucky to have in in the Red, White, and Grey.

I know that he's still a freshman but could it be possible that Corbin has 2 consecutive Mr. Basketball winners in Crawford and Johnson here in 2 and 3 years? This of course is based on if the progress the way we expect them to.

Crawford got held scoreless once when he was 4 playing in the Methodist church league.

I'm not predicting anything but there is a good chance that with the way the football team should be loaded, Corbin has a good chance at Mr. Football next season with Cashen.

Wouldn't that be something.

2008- Mr. Football

2009- Mr. Basketball

2010- Mr. Basketball although the big boy from Rose Hill has a lot of early hype and probably is the front runner.

It's a long shot (maybe) but each player will without question be in legit consideration.

Didn't they have some real solid years when Coach Woods (now at Wayne Co.) was in charge. I wasn't around to see any of those years, but he must have had some good teams. Other than Clay Co. no one else got much done I guess, during that time frame.

Consideration, (sure), long shot (no doubt),

Coach Woods had some solid years but Coach Hicks put Corbin back on the map.

They might have had some good regular seasons, but Corbin didn't even get to the regional in several of those years.

He's going to have to get a little more selfish to win a Mr. Basketball. I've watched three of them extensively, and they ALWAYS get their points.
