Good game Hounds!:ylsuper:

Excellent game from the Hounds tonight. Crawford didn't look to score as he probably only had about 5 points but I know of 9 assists as of the 3rd quarter and 11 rebounds. Whether those turn out to be official, I do not know but that was my count. but Freshman Madison Johnson probably had 30 something and 7 or 8 threes. Les told us after the game that he had 11 at the half but he went nuts in the 3rd quarter. Good all around game from the entire Redhound team.

Good win for the Hounds. Now onto Williamsburg this Friday in a traditional district game.

I'm not sure if Crawford had a FG or not, but he really played well and made some beautiful passes. Johnson & Barley were the recipients of many of his assists and led the Hounds in scoring tonight.

North got off to a bad start by not shooting the ball well and fell behind quickly. They look very young and have some offensive weapons, but they need a lot of work on their defense.

The kid with the crazy dreads is going to be a solid player for North. Isn't he only a freshman and the quarterback of the football team? He was pretty good at gettin to the hole.

North has some talented young kids coming thru the ranks. I think they return most every player that was on the floor tonight. I look for them to be very good next year and the year after.

Crawford had no field goals (0-3) and the stats I had only had him with five assists (but those could be wrong), but he ad 12 boards. Johnson scored 22 (5 3-pointers), but Josh Smith and Barley started things off.

I'm really impressed with Smith's play. He's a big key to Corbin's success.

Anytime you can win by 28 and have Crawford score only three points ... then things are going good.

How many points did Johnson have? Maybe 32 instead of 22?

Les 8 3's would be 24. Are you sure about Madison's points? Smith has progressed nicely this year. He is very tough and his skills and confidence level have improved a ton.

I thought he had 30 points, but he finished with 22 (8-of-13 from the floor, 5-of-9 from 3-point range).

Radio said Johnson had 25 pts. for the game.

Les may have deducted some points from him because North seemed to forget that he was such a good shooter and left him wide open.

Yikes ... radio might have had him for 25, but the stat book had him for 22.

He was shooting good tonight and all of that was coming off the bench, too.

He is a great shooter and when he gets a little stronger next year he will make it very hard to stack a defense to stop Crawford. Corbin will be very good for the next 3 years.
