I’m struggling to understand how you can rank South Laurel above North Oldham when they played last week and North Oldham won by 15.

The "Winchester Wall" again. Apparently strength of schedule only matters west of Winchester. Ashland (without their point guard and another potential starter) goes into overtime with three teams on this list and beats another on the list by 15. They were pre-season top 5 by KSR.  If they had scheduled light and still won the AIT they would still be top three right now. A very "fickle" ranking in my opinion, not that it matters.
