Great Crossing 59 Barren County 14

Final from Georgetown. The Warhawks (10-3) travel north to Union for next week's semifinal.

Was a fun one early and the better team ran away with it as the game progressed. I was impressed with the Warhawks, curious to see if they will give Ryle a run for their marbles.

Congrats GC - very nice win!  But wanted to shout out to the Barren County Trojans for their best season in almost 50 years!  Let that sink in!  It's a big deal in Glasgow!  Nice job by new head Coach John Myers and team!

Congrats to those that made it to the regional finals. There was a large difference, competitively, between 6A Districts 1 and 2, and 3 and 4 in the 6A bracket.  Districts 3 (Manual, X, Meade, PRP) and 4 (Ryle, GC, Simon Kenton, and Campbell) were and are usually loaded. Turned out district 4 was the top dog in the regional finals this year. Great Crossing and Ryle from District 4 will face each other in semis.

Great season for Barren County. Congrats to Great Crossing!
