Christian Academy of Louisville (CAL) takes the trip to Harrodsburg this Friday to take on Mercer County at Alvis Johnson Field.  CAL comes into the game off of a 54-7 1st round playoff victory over Marion County.  Marion County actually scored on their 1st possession last week and led 7-0 before CAL scored 4 touchdowns on the next 6 plays to take a 27-7 lead into halftime.  Mercer County enters as winners of five straight after their 1st round win over LaRue County, 51-14.

Can Mercer County pull off the upset at home?

Or does CAL win to setup a likely showdown with Central at 700 S. English Station Rd next Friday, in what many believe will determine who hoists the 3A state championship trophy this year?

Mercer up 14-7 with 3:27 left in 1st quarter.
