The vote was held yesterday I beleive (Sunday). There was an all A meeting today. Each teams were represented with the exception of Elliott who I am sure was prepping for the tournament. Hard to get people to show up to a vote on a weekend.

 

Are you saying that all of the teams were represented at the All A meeting, or all teams were represented at the meeting for the vote on the officials for the 16th Region?

I don't know who the refs are but I understand that Kouns has a letter of recomendation from Dr. Naismith.

I have also heard that Rose Hill's AD was in other meetings all day. I would add that most of the RH BGPers who have voiced complaints with respect to officials are not officials of RHCS. That takes away some of the force of your argument, LRCW...but not all. One would think that if the AD could not attend, another representative would do so.

 

Had someone only asked, I'm sure Himmelfarb would have gone.

Just wondering...........does Rose Hill have a Principal or is it run by a Church Board or an Admnistrator ? I have no knowledge as to how a Church school is run......... is it just Rose Hill and the tuition of the students or do other Churches give money ? Sorry, that I am ignorant on this subject...

I was under the impression, that Ref's from different Regions did the games. I do know that in the Ninth the Fifth Region Ref's did the game last year and did an outstanding job. Does this only happen in some Regions (switching Ref) or what? Personally I think it is a good idea to have Ref outside your Region do the games, as it takes away any chance of one Ref liking one team over another team etc......

Reread after I edited, I thanked you for setting the record straight, I only quoted you to show our neighbors what truly happened.

What's more humorous is the fact that this is exactly how this sort of junk happens. Someone starts to let a few rumors fly that aren't true and the animosity just overflows for no reason. Good luck to all of the officials. Greenburg:D , Hall and the rest. I hope Mike Alderman was also selected.

The officials ratings meeting was held Sunday the 28th not Monday.

I find it very odd that we are posting some results from the officials ratings. That information was supposed to be kept tight. The school's are the first to be notified of each officials ratings, not BGP or any other outside source.

 

District assignments are then made in about a week or less of the actual games..those are often kept tight until the last minute as well.

 

Find this puzzling.

I re-read the entire thread, spindoc - and I don't see any posts where anyone is "hacking on" Rose Hill. LRCW's original post ended with a question asking if anyone could confirm. After that, it appears to be nothing more than a series of posts that, effectively, are repeated requests for clarification.
