Owensboro Red Devils (6-3, 5A #7) | Henderson County Colonels (4-5)

? O Looks To D Up Hendo Again In Age Old Border War

• Owensboro has owned the rivalry since 2015, predominantly through defense. Hendo has consistently struggled to penetrate the Devils’ armor, averaging just 13 points per game during the current eight game Owensboro win streak. The placement of this game has served the Devils well over the years. The Colonels provide a rugged, physical challenge that's helped springboard Owensboro to great postseason success.
• Evan Hampton helped power the Devils to victory last year with 124 yards and a pair of scores. He's coming off 200+ yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns against Madisonville.
• Anthony Burrus carries the load for the Colonels, surpassing a thousand yards rushing last week. Season highlights include 282 against McCracken County, 158 against Mayfield, and 124 versus South Warren.

Series History ?: Owensboro leads 75-35-5 all-time

Being in Henderson makes me a little nervous. Henderson has shown they can still hang with most teams even w/o their starting QB. Devils better bring the A game.

Devils 24

HC      14

After 2 possessions each its Owensboro 14-0.  No contest at all yet.

Devils up 7-0 to start, 7 minutes left in 1st quarter and Owensboro is driving again.

14-0 Devils, 6:45 til halftime.

14-7 half - Owensboro bricked a couple opportunities in RZ, missed FG on one.

28-14 3rd Quarter Owensboro leads.

28-14 final
