One of the wildest finishes to a game I’ve ever seen. Collins fan rushed the field during the final kick off resulting in SO getting one untimed down at the Collins 23. They take a field goal and miss and the Titans win. Perhaps even more peculiar is the effect on the district standings following. Now Woodford County is the 1 seed, Scott Co the 2 seed, Collins the 3 seed via head to head, and South Oldham gets the 4 seed.

Here we go now.

Going into this game, had South Oldham won it would have almost assuredly resulted in a 3-way tie. South's RPI was good enough that they certainly would have got a winnable home playoff game (against either Conner or Dixie) and quite possibly a district title. Instead the Dragons lose and have to play at Cooper in the first round. Just a brutal, brutal loss.

Not sure you will see a more “brutal” result for a team than what happened to South Oldham last night, week 11 bye makes it even worse.

one game, one point.

Dragons are cooked, and it may be the end of any success the program has in the future, the cupboard is bare and the Head Coach is not “the guy”.

Is that post sarcasm? What makes the Coach “not the guy” in your opinion?

I actually think Coach Cain Sams is “the guy”. He’s only had one full year to install his system and offseason program and they had a very solid team. The talent and numbers in the feeder school is exceptional and the overall program numbers are up.
