PT (8-0) Calloway (0-8)

Where do you even start in a game like this? Talk about polar opposites of each other. Tilghman has scored the most points in 4A this season at 394 (49.25 ppg) and only allowed 79 (9.88 ppg) while Calloway has done the exact opposite. They have only scored 70 points (8.75 ppg), fifth fewest in 4A, while allowing the most at 378 (47.25). The number are so close for points scored and allowed, only flipped. 

Calloway hasn't allowed fewer than 39 points this season and have allowed 60+ twice. Going into last night, Calloway was averaging only 160 yards per game on the season and only had 1 receiver who had surpassed 100 receiving yards on the year. The Lakers have fallen on hard times in recent seasons as they were 2-8 last year and 0-10 in the 2022 season, so they've got only the 2 wins the last 3 seasons combined. 

I still remember some pretty competitive teams from them over the years and it's hard to imagine how they have fallen this far, especially when they have a good coach in Coach Champion, and that generally matters quite a bit at the high school level. 

In the day when they played Lone Oak in the old 4A there was some great games. Running clock could happen in 1st Quarter. Tilghman 56-0.

Biggest Senior class I can remember in a lot of years, 26 of them. You'd have to go back a long time to find that many at PT. They have probably averaged in the 15 to 17 range for a while now. 

Gonna be a lot of lost production but they just keep having stellar class after class coming through the middle school ranks. They still will have a lot of talent to work with.
