Trinity 54 Eastern 0 (JV)

Featured Replies

Trinity led this one 34-0 after 3 quarters. The Rocks added two rushing touchdowns and ended the game with a pick 6. This game was more lopsided than expected as Eastern sent their freshman team to St. Matthews. The Eagles did not share this roster change until just before kickoff.

I feel bad for the Eastern kids.

I believe the enrollment at Eastern is the second largest in the state. They have many athletes roaming their halls according to folks inside the building. Playing football is simply not a popular choice at this institution.

I could only imagine what the Eastern freshman thought as they get off the bus and see the Trinity JV team warming up. ?

Why in the world would Eastern send their freshman to this game?

If Eastern knowingly  sent their only there freshman to play Trinity's JV team who ever made that call at Eastern  needs to lose their job. Trinity's JV team would give Eastern's varsity all they could handle.

There's just no excuse to send their freshman team, unless they have no sophomores or juniors on the roster, which I'm certain isn't the case.
