In a previous post I think you mentioned all the best athletes were on offense leaving maybe lesser talent for defense (not an exact quote).  My question is it seems that SK has two platooned for years and the defense has consistently been the Achilles heel.  So, should SK perhaps be playing the best athletes both ways?

Nope they have several good athletes on defense. They have 2 linebackers that are 6'2 220 pounds. The dline is mostly new starters. SK tried playing kids both ways last year and they year before that.

My apologies and my bad.  You are 100% correct, I attributed the comment made by someone else in the Great Crossing over Simon Kenton final thread to you. I have always thought the playmakers need to be on the field and in high school that often means multiple players go both ways with spot rests as needed.

SK probably had there best player playing linebacker/db Landon Brown. He now is playing more at running back do to injuries. He should have been the starting running back from the get go.

My power ratings show this game could be close but I think Simon Kenton probably wins by more than the ratings show.

Yea and you have Ballard way above them and SK beat them. So that is a wash.
