On the equipment, I agree, but it is not being uniformly enforced.

All you have to do is watch all the highlights on social media to see the kneepad "rule" isn't being enforced.

I've only seen it enforce in 1 game this year.  Teams were yanking at the knees & then pulling up at the waist.

I see players that look like they are wearing shorts.

I think when something is an area of emphasis and it is almost totally disregarded the KHSAA has to come down on the officials.  Otherwise, anything the KHSAA has to say about officiating is just words and nothing more.

Also, Commissioner Tackett if you happen to read this thread, come on man, you were an official, we need to enforce the rules or we need to get rid of them, one or the other.  What we can't have is rules and areas of emphasis only we do nothing.  That type of administration of Kentucky High School Football is another integrity issue just like our broken RPI.  When you have "integrity issues" adding up, you have an integrity problem.  Just sayin' Commish, much love!!

Act like you have been there before....And if not, FAKE IT!?

This is exaclty what we were coached when I played. With very few exceptions, I don't see why you can't hand or flip the ball over to the nearest official and then go do your high fives and chest bumping as you run back to your team's sidelines.

The flexing and superman poses, to me, aren't necessary. I don't feel like my teammates missed out on any fun by not being able to go through any kind of choregraphed routine after a touchdown. Maybe that's just me, though.
