I pretty much feel the same, yet feel until Pikeville is beaten by them or anyone else in 1A that Pikeville has to be #1 until then. With saying that, this season is looking like a very good shot at doing it. I really like Canpbellsville and they have impressed me a lot.
rerun
Campbellsville caught my eye also until I looked at their schedule. Hard to gauge them since they haven't stepped out of their comfort zones like Raceland and Pikeville have...and...to make matters worse they play a winless team this week that has only scored 13 points the entire year. They may be as good as advertised but it's a bad idea to wait to the playoffs to play a team as good or better than you are. They play Hart County at the end of the season but Hart County's competition so far this year has only combined for six wins in six games. You do the math. If they're for real then I'm a happy camper because 1A needs more quality competitors. I have an open mind but I'm just not sold....yet. I mean no disrespect to any fans, players, coaches, etc. and hope they turn out to be for real, not only this year but for years to come. The formula for Pikeville and Raceland to get to Kroger Field has been playing up during the season and not worry about any RPI implications. It's worked

It's worked Your points are valid, but Campbellsville's schedule looked a little better when it was made than in practice. Casey County and Metcalfe County are local rivals they've played quite often, yet both are down this year. When they scheduled Danville, I'm guessing they didn't anticipate the Admirals being in a 15-game losing streak. The win at Somerset is good, but the Jumpers aren't as a good as a couple years ago. The district is solid and the finale with Hart County should be a good battle. I'm not sure the schedule reflects the caliber of team Campbellsville but I also understand the wait-and-see approach many are taking. I just hope they end up a legitimate contender. Class 1A will never have the depth of other classes but it is better when there are multiple teams capable of winning the title.
