This game is the 2024 NFL Opener.   It is on NBC so no evil streaming giants taking over this one.  My concern for this game is who to root for.  Normally as a Bengals fan I would always root against both these teams because it is better for the Bengals.  In division it is better if the Ravens lose, for the AFC Championship game it is better if the Chiefs lose, or at least that is how I feel about it today.  So as Bengals fans, who should we be rooting for?  Anyone, who will win?

My avatar has Lamar as her starting signal-caller.   If he’s not playing the Packers, she’s rooting for him.

Bump.

The NFL won't let Lamar win in KC.

Do you really think it is fixed?

You'll never convince me that the NFL doesn't influence the outcomes SOME of games.

I see.  Well help a Brother out here, I still don't know who to root for tonight.  Remember, I am a Bengals fan, I want what is best for the Bengals, what is best for the Bengals in this game?

In terms of the Bengals, I'm not sure it matters.

So you think both teams are out of reach for the Bengals and they should not worry about the top dogs and they should be happy with a wildcard?

No. I just don't think it matters which team wins this particular game in terms of being "in reach" for the Bengals. There's not one outcome that is better for the Bengals than the other, IMO.

That is where we differ, one has to be better than the other.  I think I have it now too, I think I want a tie.

I do see this meme floating around my local feed.

This is simple, you root for your division foe to lose.

So pumped for tonight. Once the NFL gets underway each year, my heart becomes full again ?

KC is giving three points. In Jackson's career, he is supberb against the spread and has a heck of a record winning outright.

That is what I have settled on. Ravens lose and then we beat KC next week.

Who Dey!
