Oh well we can only hope that Eminence School is too large to participate in all A at that time...

If that is true, they will need a new gym anyway.

What a joke. I thought I was in St. Henry's old grade school gym. I was asked what the upstairs was like. I answered the Cincinnati Gardens.

I was told that Henry County offered to host the tournament for Eminence and all they wanted was the consessions. Eminence said no.

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

Someone may correct me on this, but before Gallatin built their new gym, didn't they usually let Carroll or Trimble host when it was their (Gallatin's) turn to host the "A" or the district tournament? I do remember that they hosted the boys "A" in 2002, because their new gym was supposed to be ready, but didn't make it in time.

I understand Eminence wanting the concession proceeds, but honestly - did any of you all spend any ADDITIONAL money over there for concessions? I didn't.

Not with a KFC next door. Did they ever rake it in!!!!!

I went to the concession before the game[ 1 hour] started and they only had one person working, thought I was going to miss the game....

Gallatin could not hold a district game in the old gym for years. The class 'A' they could. They have cleared the old gym but unlike Eminence they did not charge again if you had a ticket.

That won't happen. I think they have less than 150 students now. That being said I kind of enjoyed it tonight. As long as no one got turned away at the gate it was a great atmosphere.

Besides Gallatin has won both Class A tournaments played there (1999). Maybe they could be permanent hosts.:scared:

That is true. I remember that championship game. They walloped my Raiders in the championship game. With a couple of minutes left to go, the crowd took out their "17-2...Who's Next?" shirts!

It was actually 17-0, but who's counting.

Opps...guess my memory is slipping, Mack. Actually, we almost got shirts made for fun after that: "7-8...Who's next?" We didn't think people would get it, though.

That's funny right there, I don't care who you are! compliments of Get-r-done.

Thanks.
