The Reds come into this series in last place in the Central and the Pirates are one game out of last place in the Central.  Ugh.

The Pirates are up 1-0 in the 3rd.

Reds now led 5-3 after 4 1/2 innings.

Reds picked up 2 in the bottom of the 5th and now led the Pirates 7-3.

Reds blow it open in the bottom of the 6th to now led 11-5 heading to the bottom of the 7th. Elly hit is 14th homer in the 6th.

Reds win the first game of the series tonight 11-5. The Pirates threatened in the top of the 9th with the bases loaded, but the Reds closed it out. Tomorrow's game is at 7:10pm.

Pirates now led 8-3 after 5 innings.

9-4 in the 7th.

Reds fall to the Pirates 9-5.

I am not sure the weather is going to cooperate for the 110pm Business Day Special tomorrow.

Apparently Greene was sick and he pitched like it.
