To give full context, there are only about 19-20K tickets available for the Women's game vs. 70-75k for the Men's (I forget the exact number). So the Women's essentially creates quite a bit of scarcity. I wonder what the get in would be for the Men's if they only had 20K available.

But that shouldn't take away from the fact that the get in price for the Women's is nearly $1000. Crazy but awesome for their games.

It's a fair point.

I'm curious how things will look with the men's and women's teams from UConn and NC State being in their tournament's Final Four. I've mentioned this before, but when I went to the Final Four in Houston in 2011, I felt bad for the UConn team. They maybe had 7,000 people in attendance. The women's team was in a Final Four at the same time, presumably taking away fans. The stadium was about 75% full. They need to hold the men's games in basketball arenas, but that is for another thread.

Granted.  But 20 years ago, you could have held the women's Final Four at the Mason Co. Fieldhouse and the Men's in the middle of Michigan Stadium and still asked for and gotten more for the men.   This years vibe is a 180.
