Can Stowers SK girls pull off an upset with some pressure D on the Rebels home court?:banana:

At BC will be tough for the ladies to overcome.. I don't see it happening, BC by 4

If what I hear is correct and one of the Figgins twins is out with an ACL tear it will be very tough for SK. That takes away one of their best players on offense and on the boards on defense. Look for Boone to try and trap and push the ball up the court to keep an up tempo game. SK will sit back in that match up zone and try to slow the game down. If Boone is hitting from the outside look for SK to be in for a long game.

Last year it seemed to me the Brassaux and findlet girls played more than they are this year, and scored more. I think one or the other started on a regular basis. Did Beherns take their minutes, or what happened?

The two big girls have not been as productive as they were last yr(yet) but they are both coming on strong at the right time. They have both seen more minutes as of late and moving much better. They will be ready when the time is needed.

Findley is probabley playing as much or maybe alittle more this year as last. Having Berhens has definitely cut down on their minutes simply because 3 are vying for those 2 spots. The one who is playing less is Brasseaux. As of late since going down to JV she has played much better. I think everyone was ready for her this year unlike last when she was an unknown at the varsity level. She has had to step her game up to the next level and I think finally she might be getting there. I look for her to continue her growth and be a big part come tournament time.

way to go CT !! That a girl !! You are correct IBALL, Tolliver is highly underrated! She IMO, is probably the top guard in NKY, especially to be a sophmore. Great win for SK, I am sure BC will bounce back!

To me right now I think that Boone's problem is that nodody but Switzer can get their own shot! Bradley could create her own shot but she is a passer first, nothing wrong with that. Playing against that tough man/matchup zone that SK played, sitting in the passing lanes ,put more pressure on the offense to go more one on one. That is Boone's only weak spot, that I see, and I am sure coach has realized this long before me and is addressing it. That is why she is pushing 500 wins.

Don't get cocky IBALL, SK played great tonight. Switzer usually shuts down the opponents better offensive threat but not tonight. Connelly did not score untill the 4th qt, it was the unknown Farris girl that I was impressed w/. She was everywhere!

 

Now, not to take anything away from a very well played SK game so don't you SK fans get bent out of wack. Boone showed up looking like this game was in the bag. As well as the Sr's have been playing, they were non-existant tonight(Reed, out injury). Hicks did hit 2/3's but only took 6 shots. She has to get the ball and shoot, IMO. Switzer was not a factor at all tonight. Boone has to do something to get to the FT line like all the teams do we play. Boone is physical but the other teams seem to always shoot more FT than Boone. Tonight, SK(19/26) made more than Boone shot(15).

 

I don't know the answer but I do know they will be back and ready to go next time, I hope or Conner will give them another home lose.
