It's going to be even harder now, because Peyton's first instinct is to completely abandon the running game. That plays into NE's hand perfectly, allowing them to rush four (and get sacks!) and keep pressure on with an occasional blitz. Indy's lack of a reliable 3rd WR hurts them as well in this situation.

I'm genuinely shocked by that, because it completely goes against Peyton's normal tendencies. This game may get interesting again …

If they don't get it here then they have no choice but to go for it on 4th down!

Compared to other seasons, Manning has been a TD machine this one.
