Cov Cath's PA guy has Griffin Stadium rocking after the game with Rubberband Man booming.

By my count, Owen Leen ran for 138 yards and 2 touchdowns on 8 carries tonight. 17.25 yards per carry, and 1 touchdown for every 4 carries. That's a solid stat line.

I’ve heard of the Spinners but never that song. It’s ok, is there a tie to the football program or just a random song that was randomly picked.

One of the best songs from that era! My son (he's 12) and I blare that quite often around the house or while driving. Great choice!

 I think it's just a personal fave of his, honestly. He plays the original 1958 recording of the Cov Cath fight song immediately after time expires in winning games, and then he follows that up with Rubberband Man. Recent tradition has also been to play Outlet by Desiigner as the team takes the field immediately prior to the opening kickoff, and then after Cov Cath touchdowns they also to play a remix version of the school fight song that was arranged by John Lawrie (CCH '20) kind of in the style of the Mario Bros theme.

Evan Pitzer is still on track to break the Cov Cath football program record for single-season passing percentage. AJ Mayer is the current record holder for his 64.1% passing (170-265) in the 2017 season. Evan is currently at 130-178 with a 73.0 passing percentage.
