Hard to know what to expect from this 9-1 Jtown team.....their nine victories have come over teams that have combined for just 20 wins.   Only Louisville Holy Cross (5-5) won more than 3 games this year......of course, all this  means is that we truly have no idea how Jtown will perform against a team with a winning record.   It doesn't tell us whether they are truly good, or secretly bad.   Friday will tell a lot.

North has a reasonably stout defense, and their passing game is exceptional, with a lot of weapons.  I don't expect the Mustangs to have much success on the ground - and in fact, they may not even try too hard to run the ball.   North averages just over 60 yards a game on the ground.  In last week's 29-7 win over Oldham County, North didn't hardly run the ball at all until the final drive, when they milked the clock with repeated running plays.

But through the air, North has had one of the top passing games in the state.   North QB Jace Bullock - a 3 year starter - has thrown for over 2,200 yards with 24 TDs and only 6 picks.     Three different receivers have 30+ catches, with Gray Schmittel fielding 75 passes for 799 yards and 9 scores.

Jtown is getting a lot out of their passing game as well....Raymond Cornish has thrown for 1,626 yards with 21 TDs and only 4 INT.   More impressively, he's averaging just over 21 yards a completion.  Kaden Ruff has 1,117 yards rushing with 14 scores.

Jeffersontown is definitely improved from past years. They've scheduled properly, gaining victories and momentum, which will pay dividends in the coming season. They're doing it the right way.

That said, I think North Oldham will win by two touchdowns.
