Playing in a weak district hasn't hurt them in the last decade or so....I'm sure they will be just fine. When was the last time Beechwood had a district opponent stay within 4 scores in a game?

Last year against Lloyd. 34 to 7

I am sure it has been awhile, but they haven't been playing 5 district games in a year either. This is not me saying that it will hurt them, just that I hope it doesn't.

I felt like Bracken County was the best district opponent Beechwood faced. I like their line play, and they had a couple other good backs in addition to Tarter. I was impressed with Tarter. Runs hard, good speed. If Bracken could find a way to have some positive passing plays, they could give someone a surprise in the playoffs. Although that loss to Owen County raises some big question marks for me. I don't see how that happened.

I don't think Tarter played against Owen County.

Thanks for that info, but IMO that should not explain that loss.

That's possible.  I don't know much about them.
