Franklin-Simpson 27 Glasgow 14

Featured Replies

FS defense swarmed the Scotties all night and forced several turnovers which helped make the difference in the game.

Congrats Wildcats!  That’s a Big win!

What a win for Franklin Simpson. To win at Glasgow and kinda control the game the entire way. Gotta be district favorite now.

I don’t want to take anything away from FS because they played great. But at some point time you have to catch the dang ball, Glasgow had drop after drop after drop and made more mental mistakes than I’ve ever seen a Scottie team make. But hey that’s part of football congrats to FS they wanted more and they showed it tonight.

This Glasgow team has to be frustrating to watch every week. Very talented but costly mistakes each week and played a team to make them pay tonight.

You got that right you keep thinking the drops will stop but it seems like there is several every game there’s comes a point and time when you just have to accept they aren’t going to stop. And the sad part is Easton is putting the ball right there on them.

Back to back games too where the punt  game gives teams great field position cause of bad snaps or can’t handle the snaps.

When I got to the stadium tonight and saw how big Glasgow’s linemen and receivers were I thought FS was in trouble. FS has to play fast and aggressive on defense to make up for their lack of size and that’s what cost them on the first Glasgow TD. I was surprised that Glasgow didn’t take more shots downfield and try to let their bigger receivers go up for a jump ball. More shocking to me was the fact that FS actually did that a couple of times and made the catch. There were 2 plays in particular where the Scottie defender was right there in perfect position and somehow FS got the ball, including the first TD. Glasgow has the talent to make a playoff run if they can cut out the mistakes.
