Brossart 59 Scott 47

The thing that impresses me about Scott is that they have their limitations but continue to play extremely hard. They don't go deep on their bench, they are playing seniors who had relatively little varsity experience before this season yet they continue to be in most every game.

I think everyone expected Sharp and Quigley to be good but who really believed that Miller and Smith would play at this level? Miller was basically a role player last year and I don't think Smith played any significant varsity minutes last year.

Great job by Coach Carr to get the most out of his players.

Agreed!! Similar could be said for the Mustangs, as Kramer, Rebholtz, Lloyd and Niemeyer saw little meaningful varsity action; and are now being called on be major contributors to the team. Both sets of kids are stepping up very well, which is a credit to the kids and the coaching staffs!!

I just heard Quigley Broke his wrist. Any truth to this, it would be a devestating blow to the eagles.

It is true. His injury will keep him out at least 4 weeks and quite possibly the rest of the season. He will have it re-evaluated in 4 weeks to see if it has healed.

I have known him and his family for many years and I can't begin to tell you how sick I am over this. This young man is a great person and player. He doesn't deserve to end his high school career like this.

I will be praying for him to have a speedy recovery.

Sad to see any senior go down, especially a senior for your home team. I've seen him play since he has been an eagle, work his tail off to get to the level hes been playin at, sad.

Sorry to hear about Quigley. That is a horrible way to end your season/hs career. This is going to have a big impact on the Eagles which need him badly.

This stinks!! Hopefully he'll make it back for the end of the season. plus districts & regionals. Good luck to him!!

Tough loss for the Eagles...who steps into the rotation?

That is the $64,000 dollar question!! Quite honestly they don't have anyone on the bench even close to Quigley's ability which means Felts, Sharp, Smith, and Miller will have to pick their game even more now.
