Greenwood 38 Warren East 6

Final from Bowling Green. Gators in command from the start.

GW is the real deal maybe 3rd best in 5A behind Scott County and BG

Watch out for the Gators!

That Greenwood va South Warren game is going to be really interesting this year!

East certainly passes the get off the bus test. GW’s defense really put the clamps on the East offense, giving up only 1 td. They did, however, give up another kickoff for a touchdown, which is the third one they give it up this year.

Just a total mismatch. Not much to really be upset about either, GW was just better in every facet. I think they roll over South Warren. Think the BG monster is still what it is, but see no reason they can't run through the rest of their schedule. Congrats to the Gators!

On the East side of things, it almost seemed like they weren't even trying to get Parsley involved in the run game. And the times they did, it amounted to very little. Back to the drawing board. Good news for the Raiders, they have two very winnable games over the next couple of weeks to potentially have a 3-1 start. But boy, they have a lot to work on. At the end of the day, East has the bodies to have atleast made this game more competitive, instead it was an all systems failure. We will see how they respond.
