#2 Biggers for Mayfield needs to be put on the map for scouts. He can play at the college level. He is a lockdown corner on D and is electric on offense when he gets the ball in his hands. A Mayfield kid whose family finally moved him back home for his senior year after playing at Murray since 3rd grade.

History may have been made in this game as Xavier is the 3rd generation of Biggers that have caught a touchdown pass and intercepted a pass for Mayfield and both have even been done against Hopkinsville...definitely D1 on either side of the ball and is proving to be a difference maker that will help increase Mayfield's chance of winning a state championship..

I just hope for that kid’s sake he gets the exposure he deserves this year and is seen by all the right people. He has kinda flown under the radar the past 3 years being stuck in Murray but man that kid can do it all. He was just made to play football.

I think you control your own destiny. You create your own exposure. It does not matter if he is at Murray or Mayfield. He needs to market himself, use connections and spread the tape around. If he is worthy, someone will see him.

The last time Hopkinsville chose to not replace Craig Clayton with his defensive coordinator almost 20 years ago it sank the once proud program.

Clayton returned and immediately had them competitive in the playoffs every season. Going to region and semi state games. They had the chance to hire his DC again but they did not and look where they are?

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. Last time Hoptown was this bad was in 2011-2012. Christian isn’t much better.

Going to enjoy wearing me red and blue for one last Hoptown County game on Friday. It will be the last time we may ever see that stadium with a big crowd. 6A is going to be a rude awakening for that consolidated school.

I am not suprised by this. We all know that Hoptown and Christian Co have plenty of athletes and a community that will support their teams. I can't speak for Christian but the coaching selection for Hoptown was highly questionable imo.
