    Hearing that QBs can't be touched/run tonight. That will impact the Highlands offense quite a bit. Will have a 7v7 feel to it. With that said, these teams meet in the regular season in 4 weeks so being more vanilla and working on other things makes sense.

    Not really. Verax scrambles well but HHS does a ton of read option and designed QB runs now. Very different.

    Any way you cut it no QB runs and it impacts both teams.

    I go with Benke over Verax for a birds win.  How many interceptions did Verax throw last year? I thought he led the state?

    I’m actually surprised they’re scrimmaging each other so close to a regular season game.

    Pretty vanilla on both ends.

    Highlands had a nice long drive that started on their own 3. Moved the ball with ease on their first drive. Not sure who scored.

    Ryle had 2 nice drives. Punched one in from the 5. RB Hays w/ TD.

    2nd score was by WR Lorms.

    Ryle punted on first drive then scored on next 2 series. Highlands scored on first drive then got stopped on next two.

    Ryle looked better today.
