January 16, 200719 yr Was watching "24" and flipping over to the game during commercials. I saw the "Louisville Chompers" in the student section. That is quite possibly one of the most embarrassing acts I have seen attempted by a student section. Trying to make farting sounds with your armpits while imitating a chomp. Jay Bilas was cracking on them as well. Pure hilarity. I think you missed the joke.........the students had their bodies painted red and their arms painted yellow and when they did the chomp they were supposed to look like cardinals chomping their beaks. I thought it was very funny and original.
January 16, 200719 yr Im saying 02Ram is wrong by saying that James lit them up and that was the ball game. You could say UL didnt shoot well and that was the ball game. Or UL's Williams played selfish and that was the end of story. There is multiple elements as to why UL lost the game. And all of that wouldn't have mattered if James was guarded and didn't get hot...Louisville was in the game and had the lead most of the time even with their dreadful shooting from behind the arc....James got hot late, and he won it for his team....Watch the game before you comment again, please...:thumb:

UL needs to get much better at a lot of different elements of the game. I took what was said as, well we played well, but gosh that James kid got hot and that was the ball game. There is so much more to basketball than that.

There were a lot of other elements as to why we lost that game. Marquette dared Hayes and Daniels to shoot jumpshots and they couldnt hit them. Also UK was making a run at Marquette and Barbour went to the basket hard and scored. The ref made a bad charging call and it was a big swing in momentum back to Marquette. Thats just a couple of examples.
January 16, 200719 yr I did get a chance to watch this game and I was truly impressed with U Of L's EFFORT. I saw more hustling and up tempo than any other game this year.... Problem was, we just could not execute at that level / speed of play. Hats off to Marquette...

January 19, 200719 yr I don't know.....If DWade wouldn't have went off on UK back in the Elite Eight, the Tubby Bashers would be non-exsistant... Im not so sure about that.. I don't think there has ever been a UK coach that was able to please the entire fanbase.
