2. To say that OSU will not be one of the top teams in the country next year is crazy. In 2005 they lost several players from their D to the NFL and they ended up having a better season in 06 when 05 was supposed to be "the year".

 

3. The fact that UofL fans on BGP still think UofL could run with OSU or Michigan or put up a better showing against Florida is just as crazy. They couldn't even beat Rutgers of all teams when everything was on the line. What makes you think they could run with OSU or Michigan?

 

4. Not that I'm bashing UofL because I would like to see them in the NC game since I went to UofL and live in Louisville, but for years they have been complaining about not being mentioned with the other top teams in the country and they get their chance against Rutgers and blow a 17 point halftime lead. Request for respect...DENIED! Even an Orange Bowl win didn't really convince people throughout the country since they dropped in the polls. I guess you have to pull off a Boise St. and knock off a traditional power, Oklahoma, on a grander stage.

If they had not collapsed (which, embarrassingly enough they did) against Rutgers, they would've had the opportunity to give OSU fits (which they would've) in the BCS championship, this past season. Now, they return virtually everyone on a sickly potent offense, the defense is fully loaded, and the team 100% believes in Krag... add to that, the fact that their schedule will be a bit easier, and now you see why there is a better than decent chance that the "wizard" could grant this "heel clicking" wish.

The "wizard" doesn't grant wishes that he deems impossible :sssh: but it is glad to know the Dorothy will be back as the cheerleading captain. :laugh: :laugh:

You OSU fans are laughable. You need to crawl back to Columbus where they believe the hype. The fact is that OSU won't be a top team next year, heck they weren't a top team this year. You guys talk about the defense getting better, could it get any worse? OSU's Backers were so far off the LOS they were just begging Florida to be merciful. They were begging "go ahead get the first down, but kill us slowly, leave us some dignity". Lets look at Tressel's run at OSU in the big games. He wins national title on a bad call, he stomps a ND team that is even more over-hyped than OSU, and he gets his butt handed to him by a double-digit underdog. Meanwhile OSU goes 0-9 against the best conference in football. Sorry, I'm not buying. Even if the Buckeyes waltz through the Big-Ten again they won't be able to close the deal. I predict they will have at least one loss.:lol:

What's better? A golden age that you probably weren't alive for, or were hardly old enough to really remember.....OR......watching your hometown team build it's legacy RIGHT NOW?

The Ohio State has 7 national titles, I was alive for 5 of them.

 

1942, 54',57',61',68',70' and 2002. The Buckeyes also own 32 conference titles in their years and I believe around 167 all americans with now 5 heisman trophy winners. That RP is called tradition and history. You are obviously too young to appreciate anything like that. I will also leave this thread now to watch another storied tradition (U.K. basketball) and leave you to continue your Cardinal NC dreams. If what we Buckeye fans say or post bother you so much I suggest you may want to look elswhere. You have a right to post as you say or believe but I think all the people here have and expect that same right. No one is saying your wrong, but when you started questioning the fans and telling us to "crawl back in our holes in Columbus", that's just not what anyone wants to hear. Everytime an overrated team loses I'm going to check your posts to see if you say this about every overrated team that loses or if you really do have some sort of a personal vendetta against the Bucks.

Everything I would have said to LSUROCK was said by the cat. I would only like to add that I can't wait for the Nick Saban to get the Crimson Tide on their feet so they can whip the crap out of LSU and every other SEC powerhouse. As will I. All of your post seem to have a negative tone about OSU everytime I have read one. I didn't read into something that was not there because others have expressed the same thing I have. The answere to your last question was answered in post # 132 as he spoke as I would have. You say you don't hate OSU but your comments say otherwise. That's ok as everyone is different & has their own opinion but the "crawl back" comment was the one that sparked the previous post.
