The only thing painful is that a Uofl fan that is not a OSU fan starts a thread and continues to bash a program based only on his like or dislike for that program. We all know that OSU got their tails handed to them by the Gators, no one here denies that so your constant bashing of the players looks old hat to everyone here. The OSU QB that won the Heisman and played in a National Championship game did so because he deserved it. He may have laid an egg as you stated but I am sure he felt it was great just being in the hen house.

Consider it done. My statement was that that UofL would not play in a National Title game in the next 5 years and I stand by my comment. I guess we will just have to wait and see where each team finishes at seasons end. My guess would be that OSU will be ranked higher. We'll see.

Being a Louisville fan you should think that they will win a Championship soon. To think otherwise would be a dissapointment. Support your program 100% that is what fans are supposed to do.

If they had not collapsed (which, embarrassingly enough they did) against Rutgers, they would've had the opportunity to give OSU fits (which they would've) in the BCS championship, this past season. Now, they return virtually everyone on a sickly potent offense, the defense is fully loaded, and the team 100% believes in Krag... add to that, the fact that their schedule will be a bit easier, and now you see why there is a better than decent chance that the "wizard" could grant this "heel clicking" wish.

This comes from the part of me who can step back and look at this as a fan not a Buckeye fan. The Buckeyefan in me sayd 12-0 and nat title game.

 

NCF and I both are Wildcat fans living in Buckeye land. He is right, OSU will either be 11-1 or 12-0, the one loss could be at home to a very good Wisconsin team.

Yes they lose alot on offense, but the defense will be even better. OSU will have no problem filling Pittman slot, with Chris Wells or incoming freshman Brandon Saine (trust me you will know who Saine is very quickly). WR's still have Robeiski and Hartline and Small who many believe is alot quicker than Ginn but needs improvement on route running. QB has a couple of young guns competing for the job one who is a pocket passer and another who is alot like Smith but better arm.

2. To say that OSU will not be one of the top teams in the country next year is crazy. In 2005 they lost several players from their D to the NFL and they ended up having a better season in 06 when 05 was supposed to be "the year".

 

3. The fact that UofL fans on BGP still think UofL could run with OSU or Michigan or put up a better showing against Florida is just as crazy. They couldn't even beat Rutgers of all teams when everything was on the line. What makes you think they could run with OSU or Michigan?

 

4. Not that I'm bashing UofL because I would like to see them in the NC game since I went to UofL and live in Louisville, but for years they have been complaining about not being mentioned with the other top teams in the country and they get their chance against Rutgers and blow a 17 point halftime lead. Request for respect...DENIED! Even an Orange Bowl win didn't really convince people throughout the country since they dropped in the polls. I guess you have to pull off a Boise St. and knock off a traditional power, Oklahoma, on a grander stage.
