^ That's not true...I said all along that I thought that LSU would likely handle Louisville, I also now think that USC would too....U of L would certainly have been able to play with OSU and UM.

To say that they were outclassed can't be said. Jim Tressel is the classiest coach in the country and his players showed that this year. Now your making stuff up, most UofL fans think that they are the only school in the country and trash anyone else who doesn't think so.

It likely is quite painful (emotionally), in that OSU was given the championship by their fans, the media, etc...all year...and not only did it not come to fruition, it wasn't even close, then the Heisman Trophy winner laid a complete egg.

The only thing painful is that a Uofl fan that is not a OSU fan starts a thread and continues to bash a program based only on his like or dislike for that program. We all know that OSU got their tails handed to them by the Gators, no one here denies that so your constant bashing of the players looks old hat to everyone here. The OSU QB that won the Heisman and played in a National Championship game did so because he deserved it. He may have laid an egg as you stated but I am sure he felt it was great just being in the hen house.

Well said Oldrambler. Most of the negative post are made only because of a dislike for the program. There is no structure in what they boast and everyone knows the reason behind it.

 

 

Not really. They lost there top 4 players to the NFL, all of which were skill positions. To say that this team, with a completely overhauled D-line is going to be top 10 next year is naive. They will be a top 25 team no doubt, but to say their is no substance behind any negative posts is incorrect.

Louisville didn't play near the schedule that OSU played this year either.

The Buckeyes are losing a lot of their superstars, but I wouldn't say the cupboard is bare.

 

Tressel continues to bring in blue chip recruits and they will be inexperienced, but if they can survive the early part of their schedule then another BCS game will be likely.
