A heck of a semifinal game. Warren closed out the game very strong. Warren advances to the finals to play the winner of the GRC/Frederick Douglass game. Warren Central has now won 26 in a row and are in the state championship for the 2nd straight year.

What a game! I wasn’t sure if Woodford County was going to be able to keep up, but they never backed down. Just didn’t have the dawgs towards the end. 
Warren Central is going to be a very tough out tonight.

Warren Central:

Great athletes with decent size - check

Not easily ruffled - check

Good coach - check

great Bball IQ - check

 

No weakness.  I think a team with a dominant big man, speed and shooters could possibly beat them.  I don’t see that team in Kentucky.  Congrats WOFO a great team as well.

Apparently "they" didn't have enough control to get Woodford the win.

I can't believe "they" let the out of town team win this one.

I’m sure KHSAA is behind the scenes not too happy about the outcome. WOFO in the championship means a ton more money brought in for the championship game tonight.

Exactly! And the fact that Woodford lost proves the KHSAA, referees and whoever else "they" might be is not determing the outcome of games.

Role players save Woodford from being blown out. Jasper Johnson with a lot sloppy basketball. Warren Central trusted each other and no one try be the hero.

They tried everything to get them to the finals lol
