WKU is getting  a stud.

I was unfamiliar with him until seeing him at the All "A" in Richmond. Super impressed; very nice player.

Owen has three region losses - Collins, Grant, and Oldham. They didn't play North Oldham. They beat 20-game winners Spencer and Walton-Verona (and Grant in the first meeting). Is this a team capable of winning three games and making it to Rupp?

Fwiw he didn’t play against Oldham and played on a limited basis against grant- I think.

KHSAA shows him playing 28 of 30 games. Didn't play back to back games against Gallatin and Oldham. Looks like he played both games against Grant, scoring 37 the first time and 25 the second.

Correct. I think the second grant game he played limited minutes. Not the entire game like usual.

I think think they can make it to the 8th Region championship game.  I don’t think they would match up well with North Oldham though.  NO has too much size IMO.

Yes he is a sophomore got quite a bit of playing time last year with Gallatin under coach Sullivan,he shoots the ball very well and plays very good defense and watched him play summer ball as well and I believe I heard coach Sullivan state he was the highest percentage shooter on the varsity squad and he was a Gallatin starter going into this year and something unfortunate come up week 1 of the season and he had to move so it took most of the season for khsaa to clear him to play but should be really exciting to see what coach Devall can do with this kid!

Really sucks to see a kid lose his Sophomore season, one that many would say is a players make or break year. Especially if he has the talent that you're going on and on about..

It stinks if he had to move during the season, not his fault.  Hopefully he can play with the OC boys this summer.  They will need him next year if he’s as good as advertised.

Who you talking about?

Kandyn Beckham… he started for Gallatin County their first game this year, had 8 points but only went 3/10 from the field.
Haven’t seen much about him, he played for GC last year as well, he was a freshman at the time. Played in 21 games, averaged just over 3 ppg and shot around 33% from the field.

The way it looks he has little to no varsity experience.

I’d say that if North Oldham doesn’t win it they have close to the same chance as anyone else.

Not even if North gets upset before the championship?

Guys, just way too much speculation, the only team that has punched their ticket to the Roy is N. Oldham.  You have to get to the Dance, before you can Dance.  Plus, we still have the unknown, will Jasper Johnson play this season.

Forgot, will McClear play?
