12th Region Coach of the Year

Danville was better team that night.  Bryant was outstanding and when they make the 3 they can beat anyone (Ask Lincoln Co.)  I’m sure having your best player father die the afternoon of the game doesn’t have any impact on the game from an emotional standpoint.  45th is a quality district, but don’t discount the 47th (3 top 10 teams) or 48th (McCreary and Wayne have shown all season they can get quality W’s).  Ask the 45th teams minus Lincoln how they faired against Wayne co…

  • All good choices. I'm with you, I think Davis should probably get the nod. Kelley is a good choice; I still think West Jessamine sometimes gets overlooked in the region because they weren't traditiona

  • I'm on board with Davis getting the nod for Coach of the Year. McCreary Central hasn't historically been a basketball power but this season, they've been a legitimate threat against all region competi

Davis, Jackson, McKinney and Young in that order.

Boyle County and DCA have played a well tougher schedule than Somerset. The 45th is the toughest and best district in the 12th region.

There is more parity throughout the region this year than ever before but Jeff Jackson Lincoln,  John Farley PC and Damon Kelley W Jess continue to have their teams perform at high levels and have command of their respective districts. Not to mention these coaches have lost ton of talent off rosters and still have top seeded teams. 12th region is always tough on any given night but when it counts these coaches are proven. This year is no different. The culture that these coaches build of trust, respect,  determination, accountability and team work are admirable. It’s just about tourney time!

DCA is 2-8 their last 10 games and Boyle is a 500-ball club. Top 4 teams in the region atm PC, Lincoln, West, Mccreary just one from the 45th. You guys need to get over the 45th its good but it's not that good.

DCA is probably the most underachieving team of the season. They have a lot of talent but just hasn't materialized.

DCA won at West Jessamine. Beat Madison Southern. DCA plays good competition. No cupcakes like other teams in the 12th. Like Somerset.

The same great Madison Southern team who lost to Rockcastle Co. last week, who Somerset has beat twice... We can just leave it as it...

Didn't mean to hurt the great 45th district feelings...My apologies...

Yeah the same Rockcastle team that Danville and Boyle beat by 20.

Might want to add a few with that 500 record.

Somerset has beat 2 teams with winning records. Good thing they play in a terrible District ?

I’m not a Somerset homer but okay? ? Still haven’t said anything about relevant about DCA this whole time. Their 13-12 record is mighty scary tho and Boyle’s 12-13 is terrifying. The 45th might have the best district in the state.

Rock is 14-13 and one of the hottest team in the region...  Who cares about what happens in Dec?  Nobody is saying the 45th teams are not good...  Terrible District?  The 47th has 3 teams above .500 and Pulaski is #1 in RPI...

Using RPI to argue basketball is rough.

Ok, well I'll throw another one at you 45th homers...The "worst team" in the 47th Casey Co (who has a flat our stud btw) just drilled Garrard Co. a few weeks ago, who has beat the daunting DCA Warriors twice...Willoughby only went for 40 and 20, but sure it's a terrible district ?
