A couple of teams depart the top ten, and 2-5 are reshuffled a bit after Covington Catholic finally gets bitten after several close calls.  Male makes its return to the ranks after departing in early December, taking the place of Harlan and moving ahead of an inconsistent Evangel Christian.

Who is too high? Who is too low? Who should be in, who should be out?

Grant County? They are 20-4 on the season, 2 of the losses came from the #3 and #13 team in the state, and the other 2 came by 2 of the better teams in the 8th Region. One of their losses were redeemed with a win against the same team a couple weeks ago. They also picked up a win over #8 Great Crossing (who was #6 at the time), just 24 hours after playing #3 North Oldham in a close match till the buzzer.

Point of order, they've got five losses.  For me personally, Grant County would be in my next five.  Them vs. Male just comes down to me flat out thinking Male is better.  I could see Grant County knocking out Covington Holy Cross, but I'm not sure I see another one for them to displace at the moment.

Holy Cross on film.  No, I have not personally laid eyes on Grant.  The relative scores against Conner are one of the reasons I suggested that would be the team that realistically would be swapped.  Two games, 17 days apart, with HC losing by 20 and Grant County winning by 27.  That's a pretty dramatic difference.  I prefer the consistency of HC's resume against what computer ratings have as a tougher schedule, but the difference in that game is striking and Grant County definitely has the better win.  Owen County is definitely the worst loss on either schedule.

Why’s Conner not on here? That’s wild, they just blew Mason doors off and they have a win over CCH.

I wouldn't sleep on Owen County, they have a top-5 player in the state committed to WKU, and the team plays defense like no other. They played Evangel Christian within 5 points the entirety of their All 'A' State Semifinal game. 
Contrary, the Braves defeated Owen County just 2 weeks ago.

Conner has a very strong resume, and I would have to agree with you. I struggled putting CovCath over them in the 9th region rankings this week. 

Out of curiosity, who are you all dropping from the ranks to add Grant County and/or Conner?

Got it.  

Conner is a top 15 team.  Put them at 15 and all drop down one.  NL is a top 20 -25 team not a top 12 team.

Yeah I’m taking Conner over North at this point hands down, they don’t impress me outside of Reed. And he hasn’t played as good this year! That’s just one team, Conner plays in one of the hardest regions in the state and has some wins against top top teams. In my honest opinion I think people take the lazy route or might just not have the time of their day to get a good feel of most teams.
