Rule 13

PT with over 80 players in uniform in this scrimmage. It's been a long time since I've seen that many on a Tilghman sideline. 

How did they look?

Huge offensive line. 1 of the 2 transfers played and looked really good at defensive back, although he wasn't targeted much, he gets all over the field. Played some RB and WR as well. Defense didn't hardly give up anything. No points allowed and not many yards to be had. Overall, PT looked really promising in a very vanilla scrimmage. Lots to be excited about.

Madisonville North Hopkins. On a side note, I think that's about as many people as I've seen attend a scrimmage. Great turnout of support by both schools. I've been to plenty of regular season games with less people in the stands.

It was really tough to gauge. Their QB looked like he could be a dual threat. He had a few throws he just missed on and when the play broke down, he has some decent wheels. Overall size on both sides better than average. I felt like the defensive team speed was better than any one individual player. They can get to the ball but are also susceptible to the big play. They also have a receiver who had a knack for finding open areas on occasion. It's so hard to tell when so many guys have different scrimmage number jerseys on who is who. I'm not totally familiar with them, but just based solely off teams I've seen from them previously, I could see them struggling some. Then again, who shows what in these scrimmages? It feels like everyone holds back some these days when they know their first opponent in the regular season has a group of guys out scouting them. 

Tilghman was able to pick up a 35-21 scrimmage victory in a Jamboree tonight against Henry County(TN). 

McCracken is playing the game after Tilghman, so they'll definitely get a good look at each other in preparation for the big game next week.
