Powell Co. is once again looking for a head football coach. I think Jones was there for 3 years.(9-21) Can anyone win there?

Bruce is a good man and worked very hard for the kids. He and I coached together at Paris a long time ago. I am proud of his effort, and he will do well in the future. Best of luck to Coach Jones.

What is the situation like at Powell Co.

What District will they be in?

Bruce is a good guy, bad situation. Can anyone win there? With the class change its possible, right now there isn't much talent. Someone could have a winning season there, but probably not every year.

Powell Co. usually has some pretty good ball players yet come up with few wins, I'm not sure why. They usually play a pretty easy non district schedule, but come district time the losses begin to pile up, the district they was previously in was rather tough with Russell, Fleming Co., East Carter, West Carter, Morgan Co., Estill Co., and Lewis Co.

Did he get fired or resign? Where is his next stop? Who are possible candidates to replace him?

I have heard Russ Swim From Estill Co. may be the next coach. Only speculation though. Too early to tell. I doubt it will be that easy to find someone.

Any word who is interested in this job? Sounds like they have several problems. Kids are used to losing. Will they spent the resources to get a good coach or will they just find someone to keep the program alive.
