This could be a dynamite first round game.   North Oldham finished as the #3 seed in their district behind two top 10 teams, Central and Franklin County.  The Mustangs seemed to have turned the corner after solid district wins over Waggener and Shelby County, before stumbling big against Central and then dropping a heartbreaker against a resurgent Nelson County team to end the season.    As a 3-seed, they play a 2-seed in Valley at Valley.

This could be a fun game and a close one on a Friday when there will be a number of blowouts.

Valley's offense is a rough draw in the playoffs. Bunch of big boys running old school double wing stuff and getting 3/4 yards and a cloud of dust. Very curious as to how this one plays out.

North Oldham has beat all the teams they should beat and lost to all the teams they should lose to. Valley seems a little more feast or famine: they either win or get blown out. I think North Oldham wins this one by a couple of scores but its nice to see a good season for Valley after several down years.

Valley lost to Southern 28-8. After seeing Southern last night, I can't imagine how bad Valley is. I think North wins comfortably.
