Lloyd is really thin, but certainly have some top-level talent to build around.  Lloyd, Holy Cross, and Newport all have the ability to beat everyone, but also are really thin behind their stars.

I agree 100% with you on Cooper, they are going to be right there all year near the top of the 9th, and will absolutely be a huge factor when the 9th Region tourney rolls around.  Cooper, CovCath, and Conner are my 3 favorites in the 9th, with the three from paragraph one right behind them.

Very well stated.

Scrimmage for your Saturday at Holmes.

Buddy Biggs and Fleming County comes to Covington. FC lost last Saturday 69-62 at Louisville Doss in a Scrimmage.

To me from what I have read and heard from good friends active in 9th region boys basketball, I will have to go with CovCath as the clear favorite. Someone could get hot and catch them on a very bad night, but I think it’s highly unlikely someone else goes to Lexington for the Sweet 16.
