Thoughts?  I think the list looks pretty good.  The 45th district is loaded again...4 of the top 10 from the district.  3-9 is pretty close to me.  Basketball is almost here!

With some kids transferring it could shake things up. Region has talent no doubt. I Could see moving a few up.

Solid List for sure. Could obviously potentially move a few teams up, but there seems to be much more parity this season than in the recent past.

45th District

1. Lincoln County - Will be tough to de-throne with all they return. Jackson just keeps winning, hard not to believe they will be there again this year at the end of the season.

2. DCA - Coach Story has kids who took a beating in the building years that are now old enough to compete. Made big strides last year with some district wins.  This team feels hungry.

3. Boyle County -  Obviously Quisenberry will make a HUGE difference. He and Tarter will make this group hard to beat. May start slow with the football hangover, but will be in the thick of it late in the season.

4. Danville - With Hayden finally graduated other players will have opportunity to shine. Boyle transfer Owen Barnes will fit nicely with Mckinney's style. This team could make some noise come tourney time.

5. Garrard County- The Quisenberry loss will obviously be tough to overcome. However, Cooper can score in bunches, and on any given night he may just keep them in the game.

@LethalPG, can you post the top ten players please? I would imagine Lincoln County could have 3 of the top 6. With that said, who is going to take the place of Jaxon Smith as the leader on the court. They have a large amount of talent and scoring coming back, but my biggest two questions are: 1) Will they have the leadership at the point to balance that offense as well as it has been the past three years? 2) Will defenses be able to key on Ralston without Evan Smith also in the lineup presenting a second three-point threat?

Top Ten Player Rankings:

1. Tremane Alcorn - Lincoln County

2. Kyle Stephens - McCreary Central

3. Ethan Willoughby- Casey County

4. Cayden Lancaster- Pulaski County

5. Colton Ralston - Lincoln County

6. Ethan Cooper- Garrard County

7. Montavian Quisenberry- Boyle County

8. Drew Marshall- West Jessamine

9. Jaylen Dunn- Danville

10. Titus Boyd- DCA

Quisenberry, Tarter, and Myers will make a pretty tough top 3 for Boyle. Stone and Little are both guys that played minutes last year. Sage Dawson is currently on the roster and if he comes out will provide help.

Tremane Alcorn will be handed the keys to the car.  I agree replacing a 5 year starter in Jaxson will be tough, but Alcorn will be up to the task IMO.

This looks spot on here.  I will say DCA has a good mixture of kids who took the beatings, and the impact of the guys they got in.  IMO, big Lou the 7 footer may be the most improved player in the region.  Can't teach that size, and he's a great kid.

My top 10 Region 12 are:

1 Tramane Alcorn

2 Montavian Quisenberry

3 Kyle Stephens

4 Caden Lancaster

5 Lual Ayiei

6 Berek Williams

7 Antajuan Dumphord

8 Colton Ralson

9 Jaylen Dunn

10 Gavin Salva

I would say one could make a list of 20-25 players, and probably make a solid case for any of those players being in the top 10.

Love the Dumphord add from Wayne Co here.  He looked much improved this summer, and is a great athlete.

Agree.  There is a pretty deep talent pool within the region.  Most of the top 10 teams have solid high school players.

I think West Jessamine will be really solid this season. They have a lot of seniors on this team , and can score at every position, should be a fun season in the 12th region.
